Target Reading™ Digital Edition is the digital version of our successful Target Reading™ bulletin board product.  Target Reading™ is a high-interest, teacher-friendly, student involving tool for teaching reading skills, language skills and elaboration in writing. Target Reading™ uses a weekly reading passage and daily color-coded questions. In just 10-15 minutes a day, Target Reading™ provides scaffolding for improvement in reading fluency, vocabulary development, elaboration in writing, proper sentence construction and usage, handwriting, and the development of critical thinking skills. Students work with the same high interest passage or paired selection all week, thus encouraging the rereading for details that is so necessary for fluency development and recall. This holds true especially for the reluctant reader. Students also practice revising, editing, handwriting, and elaboration skills daily on the student work sheet. The Smart Choices poster is an added feature.  Students make a smart choice for the use of their time when they complete their work.
